We all know that a big part of losing weight or maintaining our health comes down to things like exercise, eating right, getting enough sleep, and managing stress.
But did you know that what you think also affects how your body looks and feels?
There’s a strong link between what you think and the outcome you achieve in any area of your life because of this sequencing…
What you think affects how you feel.
What you feel affects how you take action.
And ultimately, how you take action (or not) creates your result.
The result then feeds back into your thoughts…
So – we need to work on the internal thought process and our beliefs as well as the external work of training and nutrition.
Underpinning your thoughts and beliefs is your self-identity – here’s where you need to focus the majority of your effort…
Is your self-identity aligned with your goals? With who you want to be?
Most of us think our self-identity, like our beliefs, is something we’re stuck with, but in fact we can change it.
Why stick with limiting beliefs about what you can achieve when you can quite literally write the next chapter yourself.
Once your beliefs about what you can do are aligned with your goals you’ll find a new level of motivation and power.
This is what the majority of my Rise 12 week transformational programme is about, because this is the most important stuff.
Yes the tailored workouts and nutrition and habit coaching will get you excellent physical results, but it’s the work on belief and behaviour change that will switch you up to a new level and make those results sustainable.
You cannot outperform your self-identity.
So why not create a new one aligned with who you want to be?
