The 5 Step Plan To Change A Limiting Belief….

Limiting beliefs can be incredibly debilitating to our progress through life and the crazy thing is, we rarely consciously choose these beliefs but instead inherit them or have them formed to protect us in childhood – no wonder they don’t serve our adult goals!
The good news is that with the right tools and some application we can change them into beliefs that empower us and help us succeed.
Here’s a 5 step plan…
Identify the limiting belief: The first step is to identify the limiting belief that is holding you back. It could be a belief that you are not good enough, that you don’t deserve success, or that you are not capable of achieving your goals.
Challenge the belief: Once you have identified the limiting belief, challenge it by asking yourself if it is really true. Look for evidence that contradicts the belief and challenge the assumptions that underpin it.
Create a new belief: Replace the limiting belief with a new, empowering one. Choose a belief that is more positive and aligned with your goals. For example, instead of “I am not good enough,” choose “I am capable of achieving my goals.”
Reinforce the new belief: To reinforce the new belief, repeat it to yourself regularly and visualise yourself embodying it. Use affirmations and positive self-talk to embed the new belief in your mind.
Take action: Finally, take action to support the new belief. Set goals that align with the new belief and take steps to achieve them. Celebrate your successes along the way and use them as evidence that the new belief is true.
