As guys at midlife we face falling testosterone levels which directly impact our muscle mass, libido, energy levels, cognition and confidence.
Add in a stressful lifestyle and you’ve got a multiplier effect.
You can do something about it OR you can do nothing and wait for all those symptoms to get worse.
For some of you, it will be that you don’t like that spare tire you see when you look in the mirror.
For others it will be the lack of energy and motivation, maybe even confidence.
It could be your libido has dropped.
It could be all of the above.
The good news is you can do something about it.
Perhaps though you can’t bear the thought of restricting your food and drink, or of the long workouts you think it’s going to take – after all you’ve got no energy now…
(I’ll let you in on a secret… training the right way in your 40s and 50s actually gives you more energy.)
But play it forward…
If you do nothing now, how’s it looking for you 6 months, a year, 2 years from now?
Here’s what I’m going to tell you: yes, you’ll have to work for it, BUT not as hard as you think to engineer big changes AND that work you do now is preferable to your future if you do nothing.
You can transform how you look and feel in a matter of weeks without:
- Restricting your food
- Cutting out carbs
- Doing long workouts
In fact, short workouts are better – they fit in your day, give you more recovery (necessary at midlife) AND get great results.
I coach clients without putting them on diets, without giving them hours of training, and we work to shift your limiting beliefs, create new habits, and help you engineer behaviour change so the results are for life.
If you’d like to lose cm’s off your waist, maybe add some cm’s to your arms and chest, lean out, have more energy, get fitter, more motivated, more confident and get that libido firing, as well as loving what you see in the mirror, then give me a shout.
