Being in a striving place, always on is going to get you to your goals, but there’s going to be a cost.
I know, I’ve been there.
Sooner or later will come the crash.
This could be something related to your physical health, it could manifest as a sudden loss of energy and drive, a feeling that you’re lost…
You see, the thing we need to get right is balance, and it’s not as simple as just taking a rest.
We need to make sure our physical and psychological health is being looked after.
All too often we’ll neglect it in place of chasing our goals, but if we neglect it too long, we’ll come unstuck.
You should be making time each day for movement, ensure you’re nourishing yourself correctly (not just going for high energy, easy to grab food), getting enough sleep, controlling your stress factors and crucially – actively working on your mindset.
If you’re not currently doing this, watch out! When we dial the above in, then actually we find that we become even more effective, our performance increases, our focus, our energy, our drive, and that echoes out across all the ares of our lives.
