Remember To Look Up

As we’re in Spain there were no fireworks last night, but we did get our own spectacular sky show. It was a clear night (we could clearly see the Atlas mountains over in North Africa as the sunset), so we headed down to the beach.

Away from artificial lights and sound we could look up and appreciate the heavenly glory above us. The only sound was the gentle lapping of waves, Venus shone brightly on the horizon, Jupiter and Saturn above us.

It was breathtaking. One of those moment where you think to yourself, “Why don’t I do this more often?”

It got me to thinking, it’s a little like life. We get caught up on concentrating on the next step, the way ahead, the possible obstacles, we rarely stop to look back up at our overall goal.

Of course we want to break our big goal up into small achievable steps, but we also want to keep track of why we’re taking those steps and what the destination is.

It’s the same with relationships… think about your partner now, remember when you first met, the excitement, the thrill. Remember how excited you felt to be with them. How you raised your own game, eager to be the best version of you.

Are you still there? Be honest.

We can get so caught up in the familiar and mundane that we forget the magic that’s right there, if only we opened our eyes to it.

How would it feel to look at your relationship and see those stars again?

You deserve it, your partner deserves it.

If you’d like to explore this more, then join us on Wednesday evening when we’ll be taking you on a free relationship masterclass.

We can’t wait!
